Lower charges

Reducing pension provider charges should mean more money for you when you need it

provider charges

Keeping your charges as low as possible

Typically, pension provider charges range from 0.5% to 1.5% per year. In most cases we can negotiate lower rates, sometimes as low as 0.2%, which can make a big difference to the size of your pot.

This graph is based on a £50,000 sum at onset, growing at 6% per year for 15 years with provider annual management charges of 0.2%, 0.5%, 1% and 1.5% applied. No other charges considered.

How much bigger could your pension be?

Take a 40-year-old with a £50,000 pot growing at 5%, on average, each year with annual charges of 1.2%. The graph shows how much their pension would be worth aged 60 if they did nothing, compared to tackling charges, performance and contributions (compounded). It then looks at the impact of leaving your money invested for a further five years.
